About Us

The data looks good, but can you trust it?

ExhibitorResearch.com is a free web site designed and operated by Adnet in conjunction with Canspec Research which is the primary data supplier. All searchable data has been independently extracted from public corporate filings. While admitting that any effort to convert complex unstructured information into categorized searchable information involves some degree of judgement, we wish to stress that it is not the intent of this site to render subjective judgements about the investment potential of any companies and their projects.

Exhibitor companies do have the option to supply profile information for a fee. This information consists of a corporate overview and a project overview. A "corporate overview" is a mission statement describing the focus and strategy of the company. The "project overview" consists of brief paragraphs describing the nature of and plans for the currently most important projects. Ideally a link has been provided to the corporate web page that has more detailed information on the project. We do not check the corporate or project overview for compliance with regulatory requirements, nor do we make any effort to ensure that it is up to date.

We do welcome feedback from exhibitor companies regarding the accuracy and completeness of company information, but must emphasize that changes are made only when corroborated by public filings. At no time is the company responsible for the information displayed as a result of a search.

Please be aware that the activities of exploration companies are in a constant state of flux and that information featured on this web site may no longer be current. In fact, because we rely on public filings, which themselves often refer to the past, some information such as capitalization will by its nature always be out of date.

That was the boilerplate, here is the tout

Hundreds of Canadian exchange listed resource and energy exploration companies exhibit at various conferences each year. Their hopes and dreams of turning into a major or being bought out by one are pinned on thousands of exploration projects, any one of which can turn into a winner. And there is much more to the exploration game than waiting for that big discovery. The junior markets are a public forum in which investors, speculators, and traders debate the scale, value potential, and success probability of exploration projects. The result is a high risk, volatile market with big price swings that can deliver large profits to canny speculators before the results arrive as well as losses when results fall short of market expectations. The trick is to understand the plays and their upside potential. But with hundreds of companies and thousands of projects, where does one begin?

ExhibitorResearch.com is designed to help you narrow the choices to a short list of companies and projects that fit your model of a potential winner. You still have to roll up your sleeves and do the final leg of due diligence needed to make an informed decision. Through our multi-parameter interactive search engine we spare you the tedium and time of manually sifting through all the possibilities. We speed you right to those companies which based on your model deserve closer investigation.

We limit the companies featured on ExhibitorResearch.com to those which are listed on the TSX/TSXV and which exhibit at investor conferences. The TSX/TSXV exchanges provide the best regulatory framework for reporting standards and disclosure enforcement geared toward the exploration sector. We focus on conference exhibitors because these companies clearly care about promoting their projects to a broader audience. Conferences are an excellent place to conduct the sort of detailed research needed to make an informed decision. Our Interactive Search allows you to isolate the companies exhibiting at an upcoming conference and generate short lists ordered by booth number which you can take to the conference as a personalized program guide.
